Independent game studio

Games are better with someone next to you.

Teju Games is a two-person studio making small, loud, hand-built games — co-op chaos for PC and quick browser games you can open in a lunch break.

Our games

Two games, two flavours of trouble.

One is a co-op extermination job for PC. The other is a browser game about temptation. Both are being built in the open, and both want your feedback.

Pest Patrol

A co-op extermination job that goes wrong on purpose.

Two exterminators, one van, ten contracts. Swat ants across a garage, argue about who let the giant one in, and buy better gear between jobs. Physics does the rest.

Clean or Steal

Every car is a choice.

You run the car wash. Wash it spotless for honest tips — or check the glovebox and see what is worth taking. The more you steal, the hotter it gets. Just don't get caught.

How we work

Small team. Strong opinions.

Built for two

Our games start from one question: what happens when a friend is in the room? Friendly fire is on. Blame is part of the design.

Simple on purpose

Flat colours, low-poly shapes, readable at a glance. It runs on old laptops, and it lets us ship ten levels instead of polishing one.

Played before it's pretty

Nothing ships until it has been played by people who owe us nothing. When a build is ready to be seen, the list at the bottom of this page gets it first.

Physics is the comedy

If it can be launched across a room, it will be. Half the jokes in our games are written by the physics engine, and we keep the ones that survive playtesting.

Why two figures?

The two figures in our logo are not us. They are the point. A game is something you share — passed back and forth, shouted at together, remembered because of who was next to you. The part where the two overlap is the part we make games for.

Today we are two developers — one building a co-op extermination game in Unity, the other a browser game about temptation — working from Italy with roots in the Río de la Plata.

The teju is a lizard from back home: small, fast and much harder to catch than it looks. We liked that for a studio.
